By booking a stay or cruise with Madonna House Boat, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

• Deposit RequirementA 50% advance deposit of the total booking value is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance must be cleared prior to boarding.
• Identity VerificationAll guests must present valid government-approved photo identification (Passport, Aadhaar Card, or Driving License) at the time of boarding. Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa.

Check-in and check-out times vary strictly depending on your selected booking plan:

* Early check-in or late check-out is subject to vessel availability and may incur additional charges.

All houseboats in the Kerala backwaters operate in accordance with government maritime and safety laws:

• Night Docking (5:30 PM – 7:30 AM): Houseboats are legally prohibited from cruising between 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM. The vessel will be securely anchored during these hours to prevent accidents and allow local fishermen to lay fishing nets.
• Air Conditioning: In overnight plans, bedrooms are fully air-conditioned from 09:00 PM to 06:00 AM. 24-hour AC is available only on premium luxury plan configurations as specified in your booking receipt.

To ensure the safety of all passengers and crew members:

• Guests must follow all safety briefs and crew instructions. Life jackets must be worn during cruising in deep channels.
• Illegal substances, drugs, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited on board.
• Pets are not allowed on the vessel unless explicitly authorized in writing.
• Damage to the vessel structure, furniture, or equipment caused by guest negligence will be billed directly to the booking guest.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with booking reservations, stays, or cruises with Madonna House Boat shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alappuzha, Kerala, India.
